“Everything you want is on the other side of fear.”
George Addair
I have definitely neglected my mental health over my physical health recently and I can’t stress enough how important it is to check in with yourself on a regular basis.
So in doing this and almost exposing the way my mind works with you all, I hope to inspire and help anyone out there who may be feeling a bit low or lost at the same time.
CHALLENGE 35
I can’t believe it’s already my final challenge, where has the time gone?! I thought up this challenge fairly early on and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since. It’s quite a fitting end to my last 20 months of challenge life and fundraising for Leeds Mind and...
CHALLENGE 34
This marks the beginning of post 35 challenge life, 🙁 The last two years have taught me so much and there is just absolutely no way I’m going back to ‘not living’ or living to work once 35 life has finished. So last November, I signed up to both an Aquathon AND...
CHALLENGE 33
This challenge came about as a suggestion from my friend. I’m already nervous as hell so it’s obviously a good one. Thank you for taking the time to organise this one for me, it’s very much appreciated! On Saturday 11th January I will be taking part in a learn to...
CHALLENGE 32
We spent a lot of summer holidays on the beaches of Cornwall. There are pictures of my sisters and me in wetsuits with our bodyboards (how cute!) on Perranporth beach. We must have been ten or 11, I think?! I’ve mentioned before that when I was younger, I loved being...
CHALLENGE 31
This challenge has been in the making for three years, before 35 Before 35 was even an idea! Challenge number 31 will see my sister and I run the Honolulu Marathon in O’ahu on Sunday 8th December but this isn’t our first time attempting this particular race. We first...
Seven challenges down
I can’t believe I’m seven challenges down, having raised just under £400 already! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and donated so far. I really couldn’t be doing any of this without you all. You all know who you are, so thank you from the bottom of...
It’s time to be short!
“She can’t be a runner, look at her legs”. What I perceive other people saying about my marathon legs. Well, enough is enough! Join me and embrace what you may think your ‘imperfections’ are. Our legs do a pretty damn good job at what they do, it’s time to cut them some slack!
Why do I do it?
Hours and hours of training you say? Well yes, I’m not going to lie. Challenging yourself to something new will inevitably take up a lot of your time as you’ll be busy training and juggling life…
Making a difference, one challenge at a time
Throughout my 35 BEFORE 35 challenge, I’ll be fundraising for the following charities over the next 20 months.
